Im thinking about Tinting my 02 tail lights, my car is silver be badged and lip spoiler i wanted to see what it would look like with a silver b6 and tinted tails i havent seen any so i was wondering IF you B6'ers can post some.

 

What is 'be badged'?

You know tinting tails is illegal right? Also it looks like *** imo.

 

You see people with them on here alot, does anyone get tickets pulled over etc with them, i jsut want the red blacked out, and leave the reverse alone

 

Some people have tinted ONLY the reverse part and it has turned out pretty good. There was a kid/member here that got pulled over not too long ago for tinted tails, and its just something they can tack on if you get pulled over for anything else.... Then you have toprove you fixed it and something that you think looks so coolcan turn out to be a pita for you...Not worth it for me.

same as windows when you cant see in then its too dark, I personally dont think tinted rear lights would suit a silver car and the red-er the better something like multi LEDs

 

I wouldn't do the tails, its illegal and personally I dont care for the look of it. Some guys that have done it on here have gotten ticketed or warned about it.
Go for painting the lowers. The painted lowers on the silver b6 looks really sweet.

 

I hate those red tails. I try to shoot for 4 colors max on my car. I already have moro blue, black and silver. The headlights have orange, which can be taken care of with cc mod. Stupid NJ license plates are yellow and so is my inspection sticker so I'm stuck there. That's four. Now I have that darn red tail light that I would just love to tint away... must ... fight... tempation....
