I wanna put a new exhaust on my car the link is below. Or should i do a chip first??
What addition would be safer for my car. And is this a good exhaust?

I have a B7 as well, I am hesitant to void the warrenty with a chip, but it's reccomended if you want the extra HP. If you are looking to mod I say yes those two that you have in mind.

If you go with the APR chip, the dealership wont know since it wont show upon there VAG Diagnostic tool. Just make sure you get two maps (one stock one 93 or 91 depending on where you live) and when you take it to the dealership have it set to stock.

How much did your chip/installation total cost you? Oh and I have an auto, you think the chip would be a waste?

ItsThat2.0T: How do you like the Carbonio CAI?I've heard that it is pretty loud, which I like. Can you tell any difference (even minor) in performance (ie turbo lag, turbo spooling, etc.)?

Lol when i bought my EM for my WRX it was almost a grand (with no tune keep in mind) for the EM and Map selector. Have to get either street tuned or dynod (which will run you another 200+, more for dyno tuning) unless you can tune yourself. If you dont you can just sit back and wait for the 3 CEL's then BOOOMMMMMM!!!!

Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I definitely feel a decrease in the turbo lag. It seems to really move at 3k+RPMs. But the sound....its AMAZING. Although, I have an auto so it gets a little hard to control myself to not take my foot off the pedal (to hear the DV). I reccomend it as a great cosmetic look to the engine as well as a fantastic sound. I installed myself (I am a complete newb when it comes to mods/engines and I found it simple) so I hope that you would not pay to have this installed if you purchase.
