Hello All, I just purchased a used A4 Wagon from carmax this weekend and I just noticed that the "4" on the A4 emblem on the back of the car is backwards. It is the strangest thing - all of the other A4's I see have the four on there normal. I saw one other post here where someone asked about this, and the answer was that it was some kind of Euro model. Can someone please elaborate on this? I just want to make sure that I bought a legitimate Audi, and not some sort of "been wrecked and re-assembled wrong" model. My wife has the car, so I can't take a pic of it right now - maybe tomorrow.

One of the T's on my car came backwards too... think its a conspericy?

 

Conspiracy indeed! I just got off the phone with my local dealer and with Audi of North America and neither of them knew anything about a backwards 4 on the emblem.

never seen one like this… but it looks cool… most likely that was done by previous owner…

 

I was just gonna say, is this car BRAND NEW?

 

"like" new. It's an 05 w/ 15,500 miles.

 

I think it's cool also... As long as it's running fine and the carmax reports are clear on it than you have nothing to worry about
