it all depends on how modded the car is. who modded it. and how well it was taken care of previously. that one is, at least from what i can tell, not all that modded.
but buying a pre modded car can be either a horrible idea, or a great idea. just depends on the car/owner. you can save a lot of money by buying a modded car. due to the fact that the owner usually can't expect to get any money for the mods. just high blue book value.
and that car is overpriced in my opinion. i wouldn't get it

Many times buying a modded car means the person will take care of the car, which is a big plus! What he did to the car is deff not worth that high of a price. I think you can get an s4 with thatt miles around 18 or so. But just for reference, i bought my car at 100k for 7500, and it was already lowered. so is his car worth two of mine? hell no! Keep looking.
as far as that ad goes, that car is hardly modded, wheels and some cosmetic, maybe exhaust?. im sure its fine and wont give you any more problems than a "stock" 1.8. however, thats wayyy too much $$, look up blue book, the price they show will reflect where you live too.
I bought my car modded from a guy and it was the worst desicion i ever made, he did an aweful job taking care of it and I have spent the past month almost undoing anything he did. Advise I have for you is
1, make sure they know thier stuff and talk shop with them for a while, if they don't know anything or say oh I bought it this way, leave
2, (this comes of as racist and I don't mean to be) look at who they are and where thier from, the neigborhood people live in often says a lot about how they treat thier cars, If there are tons of guys running around with blown speakers and oval cans on beat up civics take that as a sign.

Best Advice, dont do it and get some nice untaouched granny car or like me get a car that was driving my a man who doesnt care about going fast or looking preetty car is excellent shape, Then i got it
That car doesn't look very modded, it looks pretty nice. However, the price is ridiculous.
I bought mine already modded......chip, exhaust, coilovers, brakes, wheels. I bought it from a doctor who was younger and loved audi's. His new car was an audi as well. He had all the service records, for most things, and you could tell he took meticulous care of it.
So for me, it was awesome, because I bought a nicely modded car and did'nt have to put any money into mods. I also got a great deal on it. So, its not much different than any other audi, make sure they have good service history, and you can usually tell what kind of care was given to the vehicle.

Thats a good point with the service records, I'm keeping a folder with everything doneto my car, its free, really easy to do,and will def help sell the car when i decide to sell it in a few years.
