bad seat heater..HELP!

so i went to turn on my heated seat and found out it had no fuse...so i put the correct one in. And then my driver seat just started heating up even with the car off and the heat control on zero. and then i touched the control knob and it was hot as balls, and its plastic. So i took out the fuse asap. so now i think that there is obviously a short somewhere...but i have no idea what i should do. the knob was sooo hot and the seat stayed on...but turned off once i pulled the fuse.

help please

RE: bad seat heater..HELP!

Its probably the switch, if it had a short to ground or something the fuse would blow immediately.
If the switch doesn't fix it your gonna have to break out the wiring diagram and chase each wire for power, ground, signals, ect. which should be reserved for someone that is certified to carry out those repairs.
