Bentley necessary for Timing belt change?
Hey guys, I've searched most of the audi website for all the info coming up for my DIY timing belt change. I ordered the kit from blauparts, with the TB, water pump, tensioners, yadda yadda, and read all the writeups on how-to. I even rented their tool kit to make things a little easier, since this will be the farthest "taken apart" a car will be that I've ever worked on.
(also, snub going on at the same time...!)
My question is - do I need to spend the 60-70-80 bucks for the bentley manual to do this job? I understand that every one of these little nuts and bolts has torque specs, but usually I just crank 'em down till they're tight (not the best approach, I know, but hasn't failed me so far). Has anyone done it without one?
I'm anxious to get my hands dirty...72K miles on the clock and I don't want to chance anything.
Thanks.
