my Gf sister has a jetta with a butt load of fault codes, need to look them up and need the link to the site. the vag-com dosent give a great description..

also dose anyone know anything about the break switch on those cars, hers is bad.. where is it located...

thanks man, thats what i wanted.. didnt really help though told me the same things my vag-com did.. oh well. still really dont know what the car needs.. 7 fault codes those..lol what a headache

 

Clear all the codes, drive for a week and see what comes back. Codes are stored indefinately and could have been in there for a long time

p0420 catalyst system bank 1 efficency below threshold

p0411 secondary air injection system incorrect flow deected

p1552 long- term fuel trim addative air bank 1

p1296 error in mapped cooling system

p1326 intermittant knock control cly 2 regulation limit exceeded

p0571 brake switch implausable signal


its a nice list..lol we know the cat is bad and one of the o2 sensors

 

just added the codes if anyone wants to help trouble shoot, i know it needs a break switch a cat, posibly an o2 sensor and a secondary air pump

 

P1552 Barometric Pressure Sensor Circuit Open/Short to Ground

 

so there is a bad ground somewhere?
