i dont think air would freely flow into the box if you covered it with a filter... ill rain test this mod tommorrow.. if it indeed does rain..

and ya i have like a million more sq. ft. of screen [8D]

so.... you guys are running unfiltered air into your turbo... ouch. I like the idea of the mod, but that's asking for trouble. all it takes is one pebble to fly up in there and turbo blade go bye bye... a paper filter would be advisable.

?? i think you missed something.. yes its filtered... lol.. thats the air coming from below the box.. it has to go throught he K&N filter to pulled through the system..

we arent THAT dumb..

I think i'd use 2 screens though.

I doubt water will be a problem at all with that setup.. Any water shoots off the back of the wheel as opposed to the top of the wheel. Maybe some will splash up there, but not in large amounts, and using 2 screens and the filter should be enough "filtering" of anything that gets thrown at it.
