I did my air box mod, I got a metal screen and a kitchen fan filter, it was $13.50. To be honest the sound is ok but I was expecting a better sound. But I'm happy because every time I do something to my car I learn how to do other stuff and it was fun.

yes it will work with the oem filter but a K&N is highly recomended cuz its not a paper filter and if water does get in the K&N will keep it our of your motor with the stocker will just soak it up

so I just did the mod, and drove around for a bit after..the turbo deffinatly sounds louder and when the throttle is all the way down there is a deeper sound, i dno how noticable it is though.
