Default best coilpacks for the buck?

Where is the best place to pick up some coilpacks for a good price and which ones should I get. I'd like to get some Hitachi's but ECS tuning is on backorder and I need them now. I can't stand not driving my car. I checked Meyer's Autoparts and they want $67 a piece. wtf.

How many do you need? I replaced all 4 of my hitachis from my 2000 1.8t since 2 of them were starting to crack around the base and cause small misfires. I think I still have two that seem to be in working order. I'm assuming they are the same type and if you want them just pay for shipping and their yours. I'm sure they would be better from reading your post and they would last until ecs got new ones back in stock. Sent you a pm.

don't know the answer to that, hopefully someone will be able to answer. I bet it wouldn't be a problem but don't hold me to it.

i only have one bad one but i was thinking of getting a couple spares because this is the second time this has happened. the dealershi tells me to pull over asap and not move until i can change it. i refuse to leave my car on a random road for anyone to mess with it.

Dont think a ATW packs will fit a AWM or AMB car. Otherwise ECS would sell them that way.

thanks cincy! I was kind of unsure about that too. I wish ecs wasn't on back order right now.
