Just wondering what snub mount you think will be best for a 2001 a4 1.8t qm. Any vibration issues with any of the three mounts? TIA

Ha, ya i read about you doing that. I'll have to make sure I watch out for that. Come on guys I know you have your preferences. I'm trying to order one right now. I'm leaning towards apr but I've heard some stuff about vibration. This the case for 2001, also do I need to shave apr's to fit in the 01? TIA

ok i have apr and it works fine, not much vibration and it seems to be working

 

they are all pretty much the same. i guess if i wuould have to pick one it would be apr because it seems to fit snugger.

 

I have the purems mount its awsome, I had just installed my BT and had the snub lying around for a while and finally installed it. It made a huge difference the shifts were so crisp, and it felt to me like the car pulled harder. If money was no issue i would get the 034 snub.

i have apr its awesome. no fitement problems at all if u lube 'er up good. i get very very little vibrations that arent even noticeable. i have heard good from all 3 but would reccomend apr. it seems to be the stiffer of the 3. yes, microwaves suck when used with snub mounts...i have a metal tray in mine so things can cook more effeciently and quicker and the metal bars melted a little bit but it still went in fine and works great. i could tell right away when i took it for a drive. go with apr

From the pics of that 034 mount...the mounting bracket looks nice but the snub is the Greedspeed one thats $20 shipped

$105 seems quite steep
