worry about what?? Copper makes the best spark and provides best resistance for forced induction engines where highly compressed hot air (boost) is passing by the spark. It also reduces your chances of detonating (lean condition=very BAD.) The .028 gap is also best to have for high boost because that much psi of boost can actually blow the spark out if the gap isnt tight enough.
Time? It takes 10 minutes to change out spark plugs! and if you cant spare 10 minutes every 15k miles, well you are a poor time budgetor.
I noticed much smoother engine operation when i changed from my plats with 1k miles on them to coppers in all rpm ranges from idle to redline.

 

all i needed to know was how often i have to change them...from the posts it sounded like i'd have to change them every 5k miles.

i asked how much more ofter...there's no quantitative info about how much more often (miles) they have to be changed compared to the platinum plugs, just that they have to be changed more often...kinda ambiguous info. i go by the maintenence schedule that came bundled with the car manual, and i'm assuming that they wrote that specific to the car containing factory components including spark plugs. so if i change the spark plugs, the frequency that i have to change them changes also and all i'm trying to figure out is; after how many miles should the copper plugs be changed?

basic rule of thumb, for every 50hp you add to the engine, you gap the plugs .004 closer
stock : .032
chip: .028
etc etc etc

and if you get enough power (bt) you drop down to the next coolest temp range ie bkr7e

 

i am running bkr7e right now...is that ok?
with the upgrades i have

 

i run the bkr7e too i did a little 100 mile test with my mods and the bkr6e and the bkr7e and the 7e's seemed to be a little better so im running them
