it doesn't do anything but hold stronger pressure than the stock one can once you're chipped.

if you just want to take a stock 03 a4 off the line... get chipped 93 octane if you can get that fuel in your area. adds about 40 hp depending on who you go with and better gas mileage. but you'll only see these gains if you are turbo! otherwise expect like 10 hp. cost about 5 bills and sooooo worth it.

my buddy has a '00 1.8T that is helping do mine. We took his car in for the GIAC flash this morning...seemed to go very well but id like to go with the same DV as he is using cuz his car sounds badass. He's not throwing any codes and it sounds f'ing greaaaat! (airbox mod+GIAC+Forge 004DV)

I'm only asking because i know you guys know whats best for my car! Mine is a '01 1.8T, we're still not sure if the motor is different in mine than his (i heard mine has 20 more ponies from higher compression).

if you don't mind, whats the difference between the 710n DV & the 004?

Jhawk - get the APR (and a DV - cheap-ish) - all the differnece in the world! Also new exhaust is nice - I went Miltek (expensive), but sounds great. Now of course, I'm craving more power and thinking of Stage 1+. Hey - anyone out there get the new f. injectors and 1+ from APR - whadda ya think - worth the add'l 6 bills...?

on the APR site they say APR or Bosch fuel injectors = 500$. What should they go for? I priced Bosch on-line for Audis they list at 125.00 apiece...

 

JHawk-----be careful of getting the Milltek exhaust. I used to hear great things, but all I've heard lately from numerous people on forums and at Audi Expo '06 in Seattle is that there are a lot of leaks w/ Milltek. You could always go custom w/ Magnaflow or Remus or Borla muffler (s). Milltek only sells complete exhausts, no option for muffler only.
