Default Best way to go?

[:@]

I was out with a friend tonight and we were about to leave my house. He parked his car in a bad spot that I'm not used to him parking at. Ended up backing out and not used to the a4(just bought a week ago) and didn't get a clear view and bam, backed right into his rear quater panel. Honestly didn't look to bad, seems like a body shop can pull it out, and just repaint the area, he got it a lot worse than me, I hope. For me I chipped a piece of my tail light out, so no big deal, go and replace the tail lights. I can get some similar to OEM for $80-100 for a pair. Now my bumper has a couple gouges on it from going back into my friend-also now my bumper on the left side is wiggly, where I can move it, and the right side is solid(side I hit on). I'm wondering is it worth replacing the bumper, or will I be fine maybe having the bodyshop just possibly bondo the gouges up and just do a bit of touch up(maybe $100 there?).
No way I'm claiming insurance on this.

taking your car to a body shop will never be only 100 bucks. get some pics up and we will be able to tell you a little better.

In this case I'm assuming it wont be too much, just depending on what they do, etc. If they can just fill in a few gouges with bondo, reprime/paint a small area it wont be too bad.

if it's sheet metal, and there is a crease in it, in order to do it right, they'll have to heat it, and well, minimum cost there is a grand.

Isn't the bumper plastic? I'm still betting on the cost being near a grand for it to be done right at a good body shop.

shouldn't run a grand. Can pick up replacement 1/4's for $200-300. As for bumper being plastic yes, but i'm not 100% sure which way I want to go. Best bet I guess it to talk to the body shop.
