Im interested in buying an A4, whats the best year for the previous body? 2003? also whats the best engine size? 1.8t, 2.0 or 3.0? What are some con's and pro's? are parts expensive? My mom has a 2003 A6 2.4L....A 2002 A4 2.0 is at 15k right now, so i was wondering, the 1.8t is around the same price or so

 

B6 body, I'd go for a 2004+ so I could get a 6 spd... in North America we only had the 1.8T and 3.0 on the B6... and most here would say to go with the 1.8T for the plethora of mods available.

 

Hmmm, the 2004 A4 has 6 speeds instead of 5? well, i dont know, because the 2.0 is at 15k and i was wondering the hp on that car? i was also interested in the 1.8t, but that car only has 170 HP and i dunno i would like more hp

get the 1.8t then throw down an extra $500 and get it chipped... turn 170 hp to about 215? I think thats about right.

No, a 2002 S4 is at 22k right now, and i dont have that kind of money right now, I found a 2003 A4 1.8T for 16k, i think thats gonna be it..

 

no trust me you'll be much happier with the S4. just talk your mom into giving you some extra money for christmas or something.

The S4 IS A FAKE S4.....its 1.8t with an S4 body kit...its fake....and its not a 2.0t its a 2.0..The 2003 A4 1.8T for 16k is ok i think, is it a good price or not? so i should go with the 1.8t instead of the 3.0
