Can anyone tell what is the most the Audi A4 1.8 T Quattro Sport can be chipped up to as factory spec. Can it go up to 180 BHP. If it can what additional features are recommended to be done to it. Also what factory style body kits would you recommend - any help would be much appreciated.

 

Depending on what year 1.8T you have it could be 190bhp for the older K03 engine cars and up to 210bhp for the later K03S powered 1.8T's or if a later UK car then 220bhp.

 

The car is a 2002 Avant Estate 1.8T Quattro. If it chipped it to 190 would I need to make any modifications. It is currently 163bhp.

 

Nope. Thirty horsepower won't overcome your brakes, suspension, or anything else. Chip is pretty easy, painless upgrade.

Also, Avant=Estate in Audi-speak. You might as well say 2002 Wagon Wagon 1.8T Quattro.

 

You might want to upgrade your DV to the TT one I think or aftermarket as these are known to fail after chipping.
