So once this semesters finished and I start working full time I'll be able to do one of these two cool options. The first choice I have is to put in a GIAC chip, there is a dealer in my area. So I'll have 40 HP and around 60 more Torque. The second choice I have is to get some 18" Stern ST-1 rims, gunmetal. I can finance and pay those off so that would work financially for me. My friends are more of a looks first so they suggest the rims while I'm more of a need for speed type guy. I'm not really out to impress anyone either, so I was leaning more to the GIAC chip. Anyways this may be dumb but I was just wondering your opinions. Thanks.

 

imo go fast before you look fast, there is nothing worse then a car that looks like it can go 500mph but wont hit 50.

 

I always go for the go before show.. I have a GIAC chip and im still on stock rims heh

 

I say chip it man you wont be dissapointed, the looks arnt going to make the car any quicker so if you a go fast guy the chip is for you

Chip, of course... Thats usually mod #1, unless you are going all out with a BT setup. The chip will be much more fun and rewarding..

 

Id definately like my barkes to be able to keep up with my speed so it go , brake/suspension, speed/power, looks. Id hate to have a super fast car, and not be able to take the twisties, or brake well after getting on it. But a chip doesnt exceed the stock suspension/braking system so Id go chip too. Plus those 18's will slow you down alot due to wieght.

 

forgot to mention also the bigger wheels raise your ultimate gear ratio which = bad if you dont have the power.

 

if you have a slow but looks fast car, then you will not be really happy because I know very well

You'll be afraid to look at other drivers face when they up the rev.

Get your chip and you'll be crazy like onepoint8tee. He is so happy with chip+N75.
