Default big problem, please help me!

I have a 2000 Audi a4 1.8t Quattro and last night I installed my 1.8t xtreme turbo inlet pipe from neuspeed.com. After 3 hours of fitting hoses into the oversized pipe I started my car and took it for a test drive. At first I would punch it and my boost would go to 5 and then jump to 15 which is strange because It always has been at 10. After driving for about 10 minutes it stopped doing that and now the boost wont go above 5 psi. The car feels sluggish because its missing the extra boost from the turbo. I know I installed all the piping correctly and I took my time and made sure all the clamps were tight and seal nicely but I dont know what this could be. Could someone please help me, if I take my car to the dealership im going to be paying out of my ****. Thanks for any comments.

Its a safe mode the ECU goes in when it detects a problem. It emables you to 'limp' home, or to a garage... It might not mean anything is wrong, but maybe the boost spike triggered it.

Will the ECU learn after putting on a new turbo inlet? I was thinking of putting one on this weekend...

do you think that it might possibly be a hole in a boost line near the intake or maybe a frayed boost line or something like that??
