if anything just get some cross-drilled rotors and better pads ....
there really is no need for a big-brake kit in these A4's untill your pushing 275+ HP

There is an A8 brake upgrade out there... its pretty reasonable, 400 bucks I think... pretty damned reasonable, if you consider the price of our brakes OEM from the dealer anyways, I'll be doing it when I need new brakes... course, that may not be for a long while, since the dipshit who sold me the car had to put new brakes all around before certifying it... he didnt use OEM though, so I'm debating whether or not to wear them down, or just toss 'em. I have INSANE amounts of brake dust of the garbage pads.

also if u get the a8 upgrade u can always upgrade to the porshe calipers later as they use the same rotors as the a8 upgrade.

I'd hate to get cheap rotors though...

Thats a great thing to know, the A8 rotor/Porsche caliper compatibility... take things step by step I guess! I'd be happy with just the A8 upgrade.

you might get cheap rotors off of ebay...
but AWE sells a great brake kit.. cross-drilled rotors, new pads, new lines
half the price of getting new calipers and all !!

I'm wondering if you can just hit up a wrecking yard for those TT carriers... seems crazy that they are 130 a piece... I bet a wrecking yard you could get them for much less -- then you'd only need rotors, right?

I'd like to piece a budget brakeset together, seeing as how I hate my aftermarket brakes anyhow.
