I want 20's, i was just wondering if there was even a possibility that they would fit? Whats the max rim width as well. I searched but didn't find anything. All help would be greatly appreciated : ) Thanks

why would you want 20's on a b5?? The biggest I have seen on a b5 is 19's and thats pushing it. You might be able to do 20's if you trimed fenders and played with the suspension but you wouldnt be able to lower it so it would be a monster truck. Plus your car would be terribly slow in acceleration and have no braking power. Its a bad idea to do 20s unless you have a lot of money.

 

True to that. 20's are just way to big for your car. i would go for 19's if you want big but 17-18 are perfect and save you some money.

 

18's hands down then drop her an inch or so and your sittin beutiful. Your car is not gonna be in the next Big Pimpin video so you dont need 20's even 19's are a bit much

I have a B7 and I want to go to 18s. From what the dealer said, te 19s will fit, but the lack of tire side wall wll make the ride a little stiff. I'm still looking for rims that I like though ... getting very close thanks to this forum!

 

18s tops man. 20s would just be heavy and ugly.

I saw 19s and they looked great on the car. I just see all these deals for 20 inch rims with tire packages and none with the 19s.Whenyou look at rims on a car it always looksbetter when it completely fills the wheel well.Im not so much into speed. More into looks. Speed is great but the car is luxary for a reason, if i wanted it for speed i woulda got a jetta cough gay cough.
