Black or Dolphin Grey
my sister had a b6 a4 1.8t in dolphin grey and itwas nice, but black is so much nicer. she now has a the same car but a year newer in silver,if u get grey make sure u get the total body paint version cuz the black plastics on the bottom look ugly.
Depends, black is the best looking of any color on a car when clean, but black cars are never clean! Dolphin Grey is very sharp, looks great clean and with a bit of dirt. The nice thing about the grey is that you get a little contrast from the black trim on the car. I never buy red cars (well just one) because I like to have contrast between the brake lights and the paint.
I would definately choose black. The depth in the paint is amazing. Here are a few pics of my A4.

"black is the best looking of any color on a car when clean, but black cars are never clean!"
Very well said ultra.
My b6 is black, it looks the best when clean, but as said, black is never clean.
The only b6s that look good at all with the unpainted lowers are black and grey, the other colors just look goofy with unpainted lowers.
My next car will NOT be black, only because it just never stays clean long enough. I would like a b6 s4, so either nogaro blue...but then i'll have cops all over me, (well, that'll probably happen no matter what color i get) or dolphin grey...probably end up with the grey.
Here's a pic of my car when i first got her and after her first cleaning...
Black will always look better when clean, but grey will look better more of the time.
