I blacked out my grille today. I was so close to painting it all silver. Let me know what you think. Oh and does anybody know what I can do about those holes where the front liscense plate frame used to be.

That's crazy! On a silver car, it makes the grill look huge! Me likey though!

the holes... hmm. Body shop dude... or just put on a front plate... I have to use one! haha

but yeah, body shop would prolly charge a couple hundie to fill them, sand them, prime it, and paint it.... I doubt any more than around 300 -- its a very easy job.

Thanks. Yeah I thought about painting the rings silver, but then they won't match the rings on the back or the quattro badge.

I ditched my quattro badge... I dont care if people think im fwd... but yes, I wanted the front and rear to match as well... that is WHY i ditched the quattro badge. Now its just 4 rings, front and rear.... cleaaaaaan.

You should pop the quattro badge off... it takes 2 minutes to take it off, and have it back on if you dont like not having it.

I like my chrome rings... I think they accent the car nicely... of all the emblems on all the cars... the 4 rings is one of the coolest. I dont wanna hide them!

the chrome rings really aren't that bad, they do accent the front/tail ends nicely...but on the brilliant black (blacker than black) it's a little too much of an accent. it really stands out, especially since i've already removed the a4 and 2.8q badges....the only chrome on my car now is the window trim, which is staying, and the quattro badge on the front grill (to kill the symmetry)
