Blackout chrome surround, not rings. Headshock has a black b5 with this look if you want to see pics.

 

I blacked out my grill on my 99 (silver car) and color matched the trim on the grill to my car. sooo sexy

 

black out even im thinking about removing my rings from the grill i thaought it looks ko0l at first but now i think im haveing a change of heart

 

I voted to black out the entire grille, I think black on black looks awesome. Post up some pics when you finish.

 

ya im gona head out and do it now. im jus gona go with what i originally planned and black the whole thing out. i'll post up some before, middle, and after shots but they're gona be from my phone so dont expect quiality first shot will be stock, second just outer trim, and last all black (unless i like the middle step enough to not fully black it out) so you guys can see what each looks like in case your lookin to do this as well

 

i say you dont use the rings at all but put in 4 rubbers like 18t's signature


leave 4 rubbers just hanging on your grill...it'll get ya mad women

JUST BLACK OUT THE TRIM, please dont do the whole thing, the way they contrast each other is gorgeous, more black on the grille is good, too much black on the grille begins to look not as clean, and more "JDM" lol....

I would leave the rings. My truck is blacked out, with a black background on the ford emblem and the word FORD in chorme. Looks way better than if it was all blacked out. Someone mentioned it earlier, the contrast really sets it off and cleans the look up.
