Control arms....comprehensive kit...supposedly improved upper/lowers...with improved tie rod ends and sway bar links....

has anyone done business with them before? what are these new control arms made from? it really doesnt take much to improve the garbage done there from before..but its a helluva deal..so im a lil weary on it....if its kosher..i'd definitely just go ahead and replace it all.....

 

just make sure they are meyle control arms, those are the good ones...

you can get the 10-piece meyle kit on ebay for about 500 bucks iirc (meyle is OE brand, it's the kit that ecs sells, plus sway bar links)

 

they sell it all without the sway bar links for 599 on their site +_another 50 for the sway bar links.....is it worth that much more?

 

imo, it's not worth 650 +shipping from ecs..but only because you can get the same kit off ebay w/sway bar links AND free shipping for only 500 bucks.

 

i dont see it.....i see one for a 98-2003..but it doesnt include sway bar links

 

yea, i just searched ebay and it doesn't look like there's any 12 piece kits up right now...just the kits without the sway bar links...they've been up before, i was looking at them a few weeks ago

there's also another one for 483 + 30 bucks shipping....it says 96-2001...


in your opinion..which would you go with?

 

when i get my kit, i'm definitely going with the meyle control arms..the ebay kits that say 98-03 are BSing, they actually fit 96-01...if i were you i would hold out for a week or two and see if any 12-piece meyle kits pop up on ebay...if they don't, then i would just get the 500 flat deal and get the sway bar links separately, that will still save you a cool 50 bucks or more
