I have a 2006 B7 Audi A4 2.0T and I am wondering what kind of blow off valve is good?....I know people say to get a diverter but I really want a blow off valve...

lol tip5, its true though. You really ought to do a search. Just to save you time, the reason you don't want a BOV is because whenever it blows off, your engine will be running rich. Audi uses a closed loop system that diverts air back into the loop instead of out into the atmosphere. To answer your question, with a closed loop system, no BOV is good.

Anyone remember that welcome message that somebody (I think Jest) used to post to everybody's first post? Someone should do something like that, except make it say why you don't want a BOV.

No One post USE! HEY use the search button! and you will discover that a blow off valve will make your car run rich, thus ruin your cat. How many people are going to post about BOV's?

This is only b/c Tom is getting one, thats what started this rubish, but Tom's car needs one. why would you WANT one

come on guys maybe you should read the post more befor u flame
he knows BOVs are bad but he doesnt care
but they say the stock DV is new and electronicly controlled and theres no need to upgrade at all
