I am a newbie with an 2006 A4 2.0 T-looking at some very minor mods. My new RS wheels and tires get here this week. I am exploring EBAY and came across a "turbo blow off valve" Can someone help me understand what this does?

just ignore it, its not gunna work on your car, but a BOV releases excess air, but that doesnt work on audi turbos systems becasue if that happens its releaseing meterd air which will mess with your motor and cause issues down the road

our cars use a thing called a diverter valve search that to find more info, but i dont think they make many replacements for your car yet

The 2.0t has a funky diverter valve. It's completely different than anything you'll find on ebay or performance site.
