Blue smoke is not normal. It indicates an oil leak and you should get it fixed. Possibly valve seals like some have suggested. It can be an indicator of a failing turbo - happened to me. The oil lines on the pre2000 models were a bad design for the K03 and tend to coke up easily. This can cause the turbo oil line seals to bust and start leaking, and the leak will gradually grow until you starve the turbo and kill it.

Audi A4 2.0T Blue smoke
I have read a lot of issues with the 2009-21 A4 2.0T engine burning oil and unfortunately I bought my daughter one before I knew of this problem. I have seen many people saying they did it on warranty. What is the warranty on the A4?
My car has 65K on the clock and is a 2011 - would I still be in warranty?
