Bluetooth retro fit 05A4B7
I have had the audi (parrot) bluetooth car kit installed by the audi dealership. I have the mutli function steering wheel and the call button and volune of calls works fine through the steering wheel controls.
Can anyone telll if they have had one installed where you can access the phone's contacts through the steering wheels mode function button and see contacts in the dash. At the moment it just says "phone". Can i get the names to appear here?
Audi dealership is telling me it cannot be done. Has anyone got around this problem.
Any help would be great!
dealer is correct no bluetooth device can interact with a fitted telephone system of that age.
Telephone systems Phone pre-installation with: t Telephone transmitter and receiver unit -R36- t Radio, telephone and navigation system aerial -R52- t Telephone bracket -R126- with mobile telephone -R54- t Telephone microphone -R38- The telephone transmitter and receiver unit -R36- is fitted with a Bluetooth aerial -R152-. This enables all mobile telephones -R54- approved by Audi with Bluetooth interface to be operated with the mobile phone system installed in the vehicle. It is not possible to connect up other devices via Bluetooth, for example headset, laptop or PDA.
