THE BOLT SAGA
This is my life this weekend. Either I or the pinch bolt will meet its end before Monday.

Both of us won't survive the night. |

RE: THE BOLT SAGA
BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA, you are still getting owed by the bolt. I don't know exactly how but cant you cut the bolt between the pinch areas to releas some preasure. also the aluminum will expand rapidly compared to the steel bolt if heated with a propain torch and may help you loosen in, just be carfull that sh!t gets hot fast and will burn the crap out of you. Good luck man.
Oh yea, Red owns |

yo.....f*ck that bolt up!

RE: THE BOLT SAGA
Oh and not to rub it in but when I did my halfshaft. I took that bolt out to get some play and it almost fell out of place. HAHA.

RE: THE BOLT SAGA
The torch thing might work -- but notice the rubber boots on the control arms... If you have a couple of those standing by, suuure give it a whirl. Looks like one is splitting anyways!

PB BLASTER
|
RE: THE BOLT SAGA
ORIGINAL: sandman PB BLASTER I'm almost sertain that he's already tryed that. |
RE: THE BOLT SAGA
My PB blaster can is empty and defeated.
Propane torch, ultra drill, carbide bid, and my steely determination and bulging muscle mass are my only weapons against the bolt. headshok, I'm replacing the upper control arms with adjustable ones. That is why i could give a sh1t whether the boots split, burn, or whatever. I was seriously considering using a Sawzall to cut through the arms to get the knuckle out. |
