Default Boost ???

I have a 1.8T B6 6M. I recently chipped the car with the APR and when I floor it I feel the boost however it starts to run a little rich or it seems to stutter a little. Does anyone else feel that? I know the rev limiter was reduced because of the APR chip, but I wasn't sure if I was the only one. Its not a rough stutter, but I just notice that it is trying to boost more, but can't. Any thoughts accepted.

I forgot to add that I'm talking about 4000-5000 RPMs

how long have you had the chip? have you been driving the car fairly aggressively? and did you replace your dv when you got chipped?

not too aggressive. Merging onto highways and such. I had the direct port programming done maybe a week ago. The 2004 A4 comes with the 710 N DV stock

really i thought APR increases the RPM limit to 7000 instead of 6500

I was wrong....Someone had informed me that the APR reduces the rev limit and for that reason I was shifting at the assumed limit and because I was shifting to early at WOT it was running too rich which explains the lag in acceleration.

By the way anyone look into the GT2x? I was thinking of buying it this friday, but can't decide....281whp and 312 ftlbs of torque aint bad.
