Hey All.

Looking at getting a solenoidboost controller because I want to have a little more control over how the car runs than I would by getting it chipped (i.e. don't always want to run it in "sport" mode). Has anyone on here run a Blitz boost controller on their A4? I've seen them on WRX's, 3000GT'sand Evo's but never an Audi and I'd like to know that it's gonna work without throwing CEL's and putting me in limp all the time before I go drop $600 on one.The people atBlitz assure me it will work just fine, but I imagine they're more concerned with selling it than whether or not it's gonna be a pain in me a$$. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

unless you are chipped or a diode (see my sig) you will go into limp with boost over 1bar (14.7psi)

There are plenty of people using an ebc, but most use greddy or apexi in there cars.

 

will doing the diode mod MAKE the car boost, or will it just make it so it doesn't throw an overboost CEL when you crank the boost up?

 

jsut wont throw you in limp, the mbc/ebc handles the boost part.
