Default Boost fall off

Hey i have a 98 a4 with the giac chip, n75j, k&n filter, and forge dv valve. When i get on it in first it hits about 10psi, 2nd it goes to about 15psi and falls off(sometimes fast), and in 3rd it goes up to about 18, and then falls off again......what do you all think?
thanks!

No it doesn hold 14.7 because of the chip. The K03 can only push so much air and at high RMP it runs out of breath.

Yes, they are a small turbo having said that tho, if there is any restrictions in your intake then that will make the boost drop off quicker at high rpms

Also open up your Forge DV and see what spring you are running. Too weak of a spring could have a detrimental effect. Despite what all those guys say, I have a 99 with a GIAC and I peak at 21 psi and it holds it for a good 1.5k RPM before slowly dropping off.
