i got my vent mount boost gauge and it came with a bracket? whats that for? and it also has only a few inches of wiring hwo am i supposed to wire it with that?

 

What kind of guage is it? electric?

The bracket is if you were to mount it on a flat surface like your guage cluster. The wires connect to a power/ground for illumination.

 

its from glowshift it has 7 colors and all this stuff there are like 4 or 5 wires..not just 2 that i was thinking...and they are only like 5 inches long..whcih wont get me anywhere... but its mounted in my vent so i think the bracket was just extra

 

No instruction to tell you what each color is for?

The bracket would just hold the guage in the vent.

 

it has four different instructions for four different gauges which seem to be exactly the same but still i dont understand themm...im thinkin if i just get more wire and ground it and get power to it it will light something...i hope..

 

I have that gauge - install is a pain due to the wires but I eventually figured it out. list the different names on the directions and I'll tell you which one to use.

 

I dont have them right now but when i get home i will...and after yout ell me that you gonna give me a hand at figuring it out? lol

 

ok theres smoke gauge series and mirror gauge series
mirror gauge series (7 colors change)
automatic gradational series (7 color change)...i think its this one?
and smoke lens series (amber red and white led display) that one isnt it i know that...

 

it shows black is ground...yellow goes to battery...orange goes to 12v ingition switch and same for purple...cant yellow orange and purple go to the 75x thing on the fuse box?
