Default boost guage accurate

i have the new south pillar pod on my 01 a4 1.8 fwd, and i have airbox mod, forge 007 dv, and giac-x chip wich runs 1.3 bar. i installed the guage according to the instructions and im just wondering how accurate it is. it spikes at like 19 at most and holds around 16, is that pretty much normal?

yea, its normal for it to spike and then settle, i thought that with that chip it would spike at 21 and hold at 18 or 19

For me its weird I usually spike 21 and settle around 15-17 but lately I have been hitting around 19 and dropping to like 12 with lots of surging after 45k... I think it could possibly be a leak... But I dont hear it? n e ways ill find out when I change my oil.. I'm going to do an experiment.. Im going to mount my forge in rev. and see if its true that you actually gain a couple psi..

holding 16, that doesnt sound too bad for no exhaust.

I'd call that normal.
