Default boost issues...

ok as some of you already know I have been having issuses with my car lately. The boost has been so erratic some times it wont boost at all others times boost is around 10psi and sometimes its goes to 18psi which is what i usually hold at. this all started happening after I got gas and I was convinced it was bad gas becuase the car would not boost over 5psi and I spent a whole day checking for leaks and found none. Well i ran the car to 1/4 and filled up with 93 and the boost came back up to around 13-14psi but now dropped back down to around 9-10psi. Today it was at about 18-19psi and dropped back down again. What could the problem be. I have had a rattling sound on spooldown for the past 5 months is it possible the wastegate finally went? What usually causes these sypmtoms?

I think this is the wierdest problem I have had with the car so far. Boost was fine on the drive home from the gas station, parked the car went to go drive it boost was 12psi since then its been all over the place and there are no leaks and no codes

The wastegate usually don't break. They just need to be adjusted. The set nuts on the actuator arm loosen over time and have to be reset.

I think I'm starting to sound like a broken record....that's got to be the 3rd or 4th time I've typed that in the last month.
