boost issues (now car wont run at all!)
so starting monday my car would cut out boost when i would give it 3/4 to full throttle boosting above 15 psi (it would give me a vibration and a type of surging almost) and i kept getting a flashing check engine light, then i would give it gas again and the light would flash some more and then it stayed solid. so i pulled over turned off the car for awhile, restarted it and the check engine light was gone. i drove on it a couple days with the same issue arising everytime i got on the throttle, so i had to drive like a grandma for a couple days so i wouldnt throw any codes ( i could boost up to around 15 when i was barely letting the turbo spool, i would give it alittle more gas, then, more, and so on so i could get up to speed. yesterday i was driving for about an hour and 5 min from my house it gave me the same symptoms just driving normally, the boost was cutting out and everytime i gave it alittle throttle it felt like it was going to die. so i pulled over and sure enough it died and had no power. i got it restarted a couple times trying to get it to move and it had no power, not even enough to make it up a tiny incline. i replaced 3 of the 4 coilpacks (i already did one earlier) to see if this was the issue, nothing. im going to try new plugs today and keep it in a warm garage, also check all my turbo inlet and outlets. ive searched on aw and af and narrowed it down to maf, vacuum and boost hoses, and possibly my fuel pump or some type of fuel issue due to the fact that after the 3 times it started it wouldnt start after that. i cranked over but it sounded as if it wasnt getting fuel or a spark. (ive already replaced my fuel pump under recall twice since the first one was bad that carossel put in and i hope this one isnt)

ignition control... hes misfiring like crazy, car will barely run, he did the coil packs... could be his plugs but its running so rough that they would have to all be fouled which is less likely no?
ok, ignition control. Thats what i thought you meant after i posted. Wasnt 100% so i asked. It looks like a vac problem and possibly plugs also. Both are cheap as hell and will just take some time to do.
well i rolled it into the garage, regapped my plugs and now its running without throwing any codes at all,the only issue is it wont run above 15 psi, it spikes at 15 and holds around there, could it be im back into normal and not fx?? im confused on why it would be running like that now, is my turbo going?
did you try cleaning the mass air flow sensor. Mine was dirty once and I had similar problems. I would take a can of carb and choke cleaner and hose it down.
