LOL, simple if you do it in the right order (unlike me).

Here's my uber skinny roommate doing some ninja hand control trying to get that little nylon tubing thru our freshly drilled whole in the center vent. He was in that position for about an hour and a half cuz we started from the wrong side..shoulda just started over for gods sake!

Vag-com wont work on 99.5 or earlier cars. it only works on cars with a map (manifold air pressure) sensors which is drive by cable. I got a spearco boost gauge off ebay for $25 and some tubing at autozone for $5 and bingo ur all set

Thanks for all the help guys. I went to pepboys and their gauges are like $40 and its not worth it just for one use. So I'm going to get a good one that matches my interior. I found this online today. I was thinking about ripping it apart and integrate it somewhere as it matches my interior perfectly. I don't want to use the whole gauge just the screen. You guys have any ideas where to put it and do u like it?

Sorry, not feelin it. Most of the gauges in the audi are needle based. Take a look at a VDO gauge..to me that's about as stock as you're gonna get without getting that silly 400 dollar trip computer mod.

Its tight...but completely over priced. That'd be the LAST thing I'd mod on my car.

Too bad I don't have a trip computer. The thing is I don't like the center vent idea and I don't like any other placement. So if I go digital I was thinking taking the screen out and just fit it somewhere in the intstrument cluster.
