Default boost question

I just installed my boost gauge last weekend. i have apr chip, and my boost seems to max out around 14-16, but it doesnt hold. say in second gear from a roll I floor it, it will go to full boost and as it is gaining speed & engine winds out the boost drops. i noticed on arifs video his stays solid on the bost until he lets of to **** etc. mine goes down pretty quickly, is this normal, or some kind of leak?

sorry i am turbo noob

Well your k03 stock turbo wont hold boost near as well as any other turbo, especially arif's.. My giac chip holds 15-17 pretty good throughout the rpms until after about 5k rpm. Did you replace your diverter valve when you got the chip? Thats probably the problem if you havent replaced it.

I think the reason is N75 valve. I do not use N75 b/c I have mbc. There was a guy test all this thing and N75 lower the boost in the higher rpms.

On a k03 this is done for good reason. At a certain rpm point the k03 pushes nothing but hot air and would provide nothing extra anyway.
