ORIGINAL: sdboarder84

I have a 2001.5 so this may be irelavant but on the cars that the diode mods works for you can run saftely 16 psi with a stock FPR. I have been running 15 psi for the past six months and lean codes or anything , and running strong.
Im still on stock fueling (317cc @3bar) for my car and run 18-20psi daily. Should be fine with stock fueling up to `7-18psi. Anything more isnt going to net youmuch from the turbo anyways.

after the mbc install, my turbo glows after some hard driving. Is this gonna kill my turbo or is it fine?

Yeah thats normal its just actually doing work now. you need to make sure you let it cool down properly though so you don't cook your oil

the MAF will corect a litle for density but it mailny detects the volume of air traveling. so unless you ahve an 00" + car that corrects for lean/ritch mixtures with the O2 sensor in the cat, then you should be careful

but. it may be 01+; not sure. kinda durnk

Guess you shouldnt post when drunk since there is no o2 sensor IN the cat, you mean pre-cat

you sure your still not drinking? But there is one pre and post o2. The post is to just make sure the cat is working. When you remove the cat, the post o2 throws a cel for incorrect flow.

Here you go, you can see the pre and post cat o2's in this pic.
