Default boosting higher

okay, so i read cincys article and the other one on how to hook up mbc but i still have some questions. should i get rid of the n75 or not. i will most likely run a bleed mbc. Its going on a 2001 a4 tip. also going to put a boost gauge in. Cinccys intstructions were a little funny and i didnt understand wether or not the n75 should be left in or out. ( for reliability and to keep out of limp mode). Also at http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3116627. he says he puts a 4bar in. im not to knowledgable about cars but im learning. What is a 4bar?? whats it for and do i need it to keep my a/f ratio normal. what is normal a/f mixture. i have a vagcom so i can check it but dont know whats normal. i will be running 16-18 psi and i drive pretty hard but not usually for longer than 45 minutes, sometimes i do autocross all day. do i need an "intercooler" so that i am not just "blowing hot air"?
If some knowledgable people (about boost and turbos, and mostly everything haha) would please leave there aim screennames or msn names, i would be overjoyed to talk and learn a little. Thanks

( for reliability and to keep out of limp mode) Running the n75 depends on the mbc you use.Read the how to install a mbc thread on top of the forum for more info.

Also at http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3116627. he says he puts a 4bar in. im not to knowledgable about cars but im learning. What is a 4bar?? Transverse engines have larger injectors and run 3bar (1bar = 14.7psi) or fuel pressure (r is for regulator). A a4 runs smaller injectors with a 4bar already in it. So you need to either limit the boost or more to a 5bar/adj fpr to run more boost above 17-18psi

what is normal a/f mixture. 14:1 off boost and 11.5-12.0 in boost. You can run richier, but you lose power for the added safty.

After raising the boost past stock, the ic is pretty much already to small. You can get a new fmic or a larger smic which will be far easier to install
