Default boosting late?

lately i have notice my wee lil Ko3 is hitting boost at around 4300 rpm, when the car is cold it will boost at 3000rpm which seems right to me, is this just heat soak cause its stupid hot outside or do i have a boost problem?
if it is a boost problem what should I check as i have already checked all my vac lines which are okay, and all hoses goin to and from the air box to the block seem good. cant be the dv as i replaced it with the R1 and still have this problem.
car is a 2000 A4 1.8T apr 91, techtonics tuned exhaust, apr r1 dv. with box mod...im just to lazy to create a sig.
thanks

4300 is late to start boosting for the k03. Do you have a boost gauge to verify this? If not, get one.

So it starts boosting at 4300? Or do mean full boost isnt reached until then?

Does it reach full boost? At what rpm?

Dont know what to tell you... Check for exhaust leaks near the engine. A loss of backpressure could cause late spool up. That would have to be some killer heat soak to cause such late spool up.

Yeah thats a weird range of boost. Usually it drops a little earlier too.

If your getting strange boost like this i would be looking at the N75 valve.
A malfunctionng N75 can cause anything from strange boost spikes to under boost at all rpm's ect.
I've seen all kinds of wacked out things caused by the valve, this is assuming you ARE reaching full boost consistantly and you know what FULL boost is, if your idea of full boost is 5 psi at 5000 rpms then your turbo is probably toast, you didn't specify what your boost levels were.
