Hey,

New to Audi & new to this forum. I've just got a 1.9tdi, A4, 1999 model. Its got a nice spoiler, however the brake light isnt working. Have checked & there is power going to it. Took it off to find that the unit is sealed. Anyone know how i would go about changing it, even better opening it & replacing the lamps?

take the spoiler off, problem solved.

If there are no obvious screws holding the lense on the brake light on the spoiler id try to pop it off to check the bulb(s) and if you break it by doing that, lose the spoiler.

 

IMO . . . those spoilers dont look good at all on our Audi's . . . Ditch it and get a Lip Spoiler . . . you know you want to,

If you dont wanna ditch it, there might be a couple of notches on it where a flat-head screwdriver can fit where it will just pop right out if there arent any screws

 

i want a tdi =(
