I need to pick between tha turbo xs type S which is tha cheaper purple 1 that is made for smaller turbos and it sound very nice 105dbn at 3 feet a friend has it on the same kind of a4. But now a type h which is WAY louder like 110dbn at like 6feet holds boost 10-25 and i'm at stock boost which is like 6 pound..so WTF am i wasting my money on the type H which is loder but i dont no if it will be loud because of such low boost.?

So wats up i need opinions here .... The Sound is Key....note i'm not moddin this car its just a nice lil stepping stone for the S4 monster.

I wouldnt put a BOV on your car. They don't run right. The car will probably idle hard after you do that, and wont run nice.. But if you want to take the chance then go ahead and put one...

 

if it's going to make it idle rough and sh*t, it'll be throwing CEL's... not something i'd trade for a damn psss sound. I think he's on track to be a poser. I said it! ooooooh flamed. haha

 

your car is also going to run very rich with a bov, which can cause fouled plugs, fouled o2 sensors, clogged cats, all kinds of things....the only (seamingly) safe way to get the bov sound is with a bov\dv hybrid, and nobody's even sure if they work well yet, they're still too new.

Try the hybrid out (don't really know how effective it is) or you can do what Tom did and make your car sound like a damn duck...haha that was a funny vid.

 

You wanted honest opinions, well i guess you got them! This forum is so nice when giving opinions! IMO don't put a BOV, a certainly don't just make it noisier, for the heck of it.
