The Z might not be as plushy and luxurious asa G35, but it would be a hell of a lot more fun to drive.

Z is lighter, lower, and will handle better.

stay away from G35s...I drove a brand new G35 and a Brand New 350Z back to back right off the lot and took them both for joyrides (testdrives)....they were both 2007s and they both were 6 speeds manual

the G35 (2 door coupe) sucked in every possible way....it was not very comfortable or welcoming, the clutch was detached from the car and the traction control was the most rediculous thing ever...its back wheels turn and its brakes feel different(to say the least)....and on top of that it was freakin slow!

then there was the 350Z!...such an improvement, feels like you are actually driving!...clutch felt amazing, traction control didn't do much of anything, I got superslideways into second from a stop, fun as all hell, only downside is that it's a 2seater....

In about 5 years Im gona buy a 2001 350z w/ 100k for 7k or less! fun car to drive around town for sure!

good luck!...the BMW will hold its value much better tho....

G35 coupe and sedan. They share the same engine as the 350z but have a slightly lower Hp rating. Nvr driven a G35 but the 350z was fun. I think im definately leaning toward the BMW now. Thanks for the input guys.

I would definently say BMW. I was going to get a 3 series before I got the audi, I was shopping for one and because a dealership didnt have any manuals I went to the audi dealership and found the A4. I have a 2003 1.8TQ also. I have definently enjoyed the car. My plan is to basically keep the car for the next 2 years since I have the CPO warranty on it and see how it goes from there. If I noticed too many problems in that amount of time I am more than likely going to trade in for a BMW. I pretty much come from a BMW family so I know the reliability of them. I also have liked the 350z's but with no questions asked would pick the bimmer. Good luck! Sorry you have had soo many problems.

Go with the Beamer. Stick with German engineering! I had a couple of BMW's in the 90's and always loved them myself. I was young and dumn and beat the living SH$T out of them. They held up really well considering the abuse. My brother has an 02' and it runs like a champ.
The Z's look good and drive well when new BUT I'm told that they have a lot of front endproblems as time goes on.
