Hi, can anyone tell me how I would know what size discs to buy for the audi? Also anyone know what the Lucas system is?

p.s - my car is a 2001 A4 1.8T 20v model with stock 5 (fat) spoke alloys...

 

If its the car in the picure, you dont have a 2001, that is a pic of a B6, which started in 2002.

 

fraid it is a 2001 mate, got all the orig docs from Audi! Any ideas on the brakes?

looks like a b6 (2002-2004).

but i guess not. so here are the sizes (1996-2001)

b5 sizes
front 11.3"
rear 9.6"

 

I'd trust someone to know their own car MY...and he's from the UK, so his car could easily be a B6.

Try TireRack.com. They'd sell you the right sizes for your application. The fronts are 11.3 inches, or 288mm.

Right FYI I got full discs and pads all round for £160 delivered from www.eurocarparts.co.uk I thought this a good deal. From Audi UK they were £200.... All I gotta do now is fit em!!!
