i already have a laptop i just need the vag-com software and the cable. any good ones out there for good price?

 

If your just looking to clear codes then go with an Ebay cable - and DL free software from ross-tech -

If your looking to do major changes and want to see everything that has to do with your ECU - buy a $250 cable from ross-tech - your choice

 

i just want to like reset things and look at codes. is the cheap one fine then? which cheap cable should i get becasue there are millions and i have know idea which is the right one?

You can also purchase the full program from them for $100 that will work with the cheap cable. But you get zero tech support.

can you reset your control temp with this....because im getting a new one so need to rest it?

 

just go to ebay and search for vag-com... you can pick up the cable for a decent price
