Default braking problem--help

Just bought a A4 2.8 quattro-- every time I start to slow down on wet or dry just before a complete stop -- it feels like the ABS is going off(slightly) anyone have any idea what this could be?-- was happening before and after new pads-- haven't changed out brake fluid thats the next step. Is it something common to Audis has this happened to anyone else.-- Thanks

Good point mate...that happened to me a couple of times as well.
Don't know what's up with that. I went to my mechanic, he tells
me he doesn't see anything wrong!

Sounds like warped rotors to me. The harder you push the brake pedal the more pronounced it feels right?

Hmmm...it DOES seem somewhat jumpy though...if you know what I mean...
Also, I just realized that it does one more thing as well. When I brake, it seems
to get stuck in the brake position for a second or 2 and then jumps and releases.
I'm having all kind of trouble with this car!!

Not really, the harder i push the less of a chance that it happens-- theres no other pedal modulation other than the ABS feel, and no steering wheel shake-- I'm Stumped-- guess I'll do the fluid change and sensor cleaning. Any other suggestions?
