Default Brand New VVME HID kit in box 4300k $70 + Shipping

I just got my kit today, and I just am not feeling it. I don't see where this is going install properly. I think I'm going to go used OEM instead. I want a setup that is truly plug and play. PM me for details.

Why wouldnt it install properly?I/others have not had anyissues. How is it not plug n play? All you have to do is mount the ballasts somehwere, like under the headlights.

I have a B6 and the ballasts will not fit properly under the headlamp units like they do on the B5 cars. I am just going on what I have read here on the forum. I wish I had thought this through before ordering the kit, but hey, my mistake is someone else's gain since the kit shipped to the US is $90. I will just drop the coin on a set of OEM units. I want a setup that drops right in without any modification.

My S4 and my TT both have the factory HID setup. I've had the lamps out on my S4. I had to change a turn signal bulb. The factory ballasts are thinner and seal to the bottom of the headlamp assembly. This kit is nice, but I just don't see where the ballasts can go. They are too thick to mount to the bottom of the headlamp assemblies. I will pull the driver's side Thursday morning if the weather permits and see if there is anyplace to mount the ballasts other than below the headlamp.

You can mount them anywhere. Its probably one of the easiest things to do easier than wiping your butt.

The grounding is all built into the harnesses - there aren't any external grounds to attach. Just find a location such as an existing bolt on each side of the engine bay, near the headlights, and use those to mount the ballasts.
