I have a b6 usp, and yeah it's a lot of dust. and they cleaned mine with the same crap. it made the dust like gooey paste. I just cleaned mine with a goodbrush and hot hot soapy water.

not a problem now. but I wash my car every 4 days or so.

it's that initial clean that will make it easier for you.
Its not good for your paint to wash that often.

Depends on how much you wax it.. and its not good to let dirt sit on your paint.. so having a clean ride sounds like a good trade

Wow. I'm surprised to see a lot of talk and not a single answer to such simple question.

Buy new brake pads, either ceramic or carbon-metallic (ceramic are more common). This will solve the problem. Forget organic & semi-metallic pads.

Maybe. But I don't know why anyone would want to even bother. Look into the root of the problem and eliminate its cause, not its consequences (i.e., replace pads w/ceramic)

I'm not too picky, I would have probably just gone on Rockauto and bought whatever ceramic pads they had :-)

Some good names are Brembo, Raybestos, Hawk...
