Default Broke the Car with HIDs?

So, I installed my HID kit today (awesome...except I need to read up on how to aim them...they're kind of cockeyed) and the install went relatively smoothly, but my car seems to think otherwise. When I was taking it for the requisite post-installation test drive, I noticed that as I slowed to a stop, the rpms would drop to about 300 and the car would almost shudder a little bit like it was thinking about stalling (it's a tip). After the drop in rpms, they would go back up to about 800 rpms which is almost where it normally idles. The only things I disconnected were the intake so that I could get at the passenger side light and the battery and I reconnected each several times trying to solve this problem. I also looked for freed hoses or cracks and saw nothing strange. I'll take it to get scanned tomorrow, but does anyone have any suggestions in the mean time?

Edit: Also, the auto up and down features of the windows wasn't working on one of the test drives tonight, but it righted itself after I shut off the car and turned it back on. I mention this because I sweated profusely all over the engine during the installation process (Yeah, it took me longer than an hour) and I wonder if I could have shorted something out...but I have a hard time making a connection between a possible short and the engine symptoms. Anyway, thought I'd mention that.

They look really blue in one of those pictures, but they're not at all. 4300K, by the way.

Edit 2: TBA didn't solve the problem.

Whenever you disconnect the battery a throtle body alignment should be done after you hook it back up. Im guessing thats the problem. Turn the key to the on position without starting and just let it sit for a few minutes without toching the gas pedal. Although Im pretty sure one of our most reputable members (auditech79) mentioned in a recent thread to wait more like 10 mins(?).
Got pics of the new lights? ????? [sm=Flahssssss.gif]

The windows- Im suprised a restart is all that was needed to reprogram the auto 1 touch feature. Normally you just pull up on the switch twice while they are up already to reprogram.

EDIT
Screw the pics of the lights

You dont need to disconnect the battery again though. Disconnecting the battery is not part of the TBA procedure. It can be done whenever.

+1 ha!

A TBA is probably all you need. Do that and if problems persist then scan the cat for DTCs.

Thats hot.
You said you disconnected the intake. Did you take the whole airbox out?

Alright, slow down with the technical jargon here. All I did was remove the two sections of hose (are they hoses when they're that big? And flatish?) that are right over the passenger side headlight.
